My friend was a manager at a Nissan dealer and they attempted to work on some power steering issues in his SL550, did not turn out well.
They did offer to pay for the repairs, but there still needs to be another diagnosis afterwards. The chances are slim (according to third party) that there's something additionally wrong, but there still is a chance. That's the whole gamble.
