I think if you drive in grandma mode( comfort) your oil consumption will be reasonable. If you drive the car like it is supposedly designed for, it DRINKS oil.
I had a 2014 Corvette 6.2L and you could beat that thing constantly and she never needed a drop of oil and never broke down. 100K mile warranty on engine and drivetrain. They should reverse engineer some of these well engineered cars( US and Japanese) and catch up with the competition. Keep me posted. I expect to be going back in for my oil consumption analysis in the very near future and will let you know what crap they tell me this time. Hopefully they will act like a respectable premium Germany auto company and do the right thing for there customers. Time will tell.
