Yeah, the 850 will depreciate like a rock. All large luxury coupes depreciates hard.

I agree, I'm holding on to my F06 M6. Personally, I think it's one of the best looking BMWs in history, and that itself will allow the car to hold slightly better value (or at least be easier to sell with no concessions.)

Now when the M8 GC comes in, all bets are off. Based on the concept car, I'm not loving the design. It's too futuristic with its large body panels protruding out. Now if it looks closer to a stretched M850i, I think us F06 owners are in trouble...bc that would be a gorgeous car.
