The names don't mean much until we get more details about the battery and motor output. I suspect the two M models (M50, M60) will have similar total power with the battery capacity being the main differentiator.

Having a non x-drive will be beneficial for the range maybe that is why the a 40 edrive is the base model?
And probably it will have the longest range if all models have the 80 kWh battery.
I don't know if x drive is really necessary with modern traction controle and electronics if you don't live in a cold climate or in the mountains.
