People get so used to just tossing them in a purse or jacket pocket or the likes and never having to actually use them. Mine are always on my person. Nothing negative intended in this comment, but this very much seems to be a guy/girl or purse/no purse thing.

generally do not have a purse or some similar item that they put things like keys, wallets, etc. in, while women
generally do.
