Does anyone know what the intake charcoal filter is? I'm confused as to what M5 owners are doing removing it.
Ultimately, I want a DIY on air filter replacement, no matter how trivial the task is, as we all know, on BMW's no simple task is easy. Anyways, I have no idea what this charcoal filter is that they're removing and replacing. Is it related to the engine air filter?
