I serviced the ZF 8HP70Z auto trans on my 650 this summer. The information I gathered pointed to a GETRAG manual option, M6 variant and the ZF sourced unit I mentioned. There was a lower torque rated unit for the 6 cylinder model, I didn’t find reference to a GM sourced unit.
