The M6 hubs are much further in as it shares a completely different rear suspension design with the F10 M5. The rear bodywork is the same but the 20x10.5" 19mm offset wheels actually end up being in about the same outer edge location as the non M 6 series with 9" wide wheels and 44mm offset.
That is why F10 M5 20x10 34mm rear wheels are quite aggressive on a non M 6 series and the M6 wheels outright do not fit at all.
