Possibly. But at the moment, that's also the mentality of the other side. Ie, why they're rioting against police brutality and such. They see it the same way - "if more of us pushed back and stopped this, it would end."
And right now, they have the momentum. You'd get steamrolled, lambasted in the media, etc unless you belonged to a "protected class", in which case it would depend on your ability to navigate and compete in the Oppression Olympics.
To be fair, they have some very valid criticisms as well, even if I think the current national sentiment is disproportionate.
