It’s clear Toto/Hammy handled Bottas emotionally every step of the way, the way bottas sometimes exhibits Stockholm syndrome traits, Toto used to tell him “pressure is good, turns coal into diamonds” supporting consecutive 1 year deals. This explains why he prefers his time with Williams over Merc.
Hopefully his time with Alpha will allow him to end on a high note, independent of race wins.

Four races left with Merc he may want to rebel against Wolff and charge after Max and Checo though his map may be turned down slightly to get him to end of race for the constructors.
I honestly don't see how toto will handle this if Bot has had enough of the 'coals to diamonds' natter.
