Very glad everything was taken care of and your car is back top-notch.
I had a similar issue (not as drastic, though) with my previous car.
Went in for regular maintenance, park at the service line, when they go to move my car a huge oil spill underneath. No traces of oil anywhere, so obviously it happened as the car sat there. Turned out to be a turbo oil line or something.
