The update took about a couple of hours from USB-3 drive.
BTW, I've used 256GB USB-3 drive formatted as FAT32 on Mac - worked nicely. Make sure to clean up all those hidden files if you do the same.

What do you mean "clean up those hidden files"? I'm a mac user and am using a FAT32 drive I've used before for updates, but this time nothing is happening when I plug it in.
