Honestly I'm glad they canceled the M Next. It just seemed like a 4-cylinder i8 in different sheetmetal, likely to fail like the first i8. If they want to build a true supercar/sports car, they need to quit it with just using the i8 formula over again and do something people would actually want. Try something like a Porsche GT car, or even a modern version of the original M1 w/ an inline-6.
