He is wrong about this one though. There is only one Techno Violet M5 touring. It was built for the 1994 Essen Motorshow.
Dackelone are you confusing Daytona Blue with Techno Violet?
Sorry MSCD It was late when I read your PM... I thought you meant a M5 wagon that I saw at the BMW Museum for the Bonhams auction back in 2011...

I thought it was Techno Violet... but now I see the car was a black color...

Although I think I have seen a TV M5 wagon.... just not sure where or when. IDK.

SickFinga I do remember seeing a DV e34M5 somewhere. Could have been up at Essen at the BMW Classic display when they invite BMW Club member cars to come. I remember someone telling me how BMW did built a handful of these e35M5 Tourings. I think something less then 100 cars. Maybe less than 30. I just remember very, very few M5 wagins were built.

I also remember seeing an e34 cabrio at the BMW Museum(and maybe at the old BMW Classic location)... that car was a one off(well...I was told one of two actually). The rear doors were welded up. I found two pics on the interwebs...

And the only 8er Cabrio made... as a concept car for the BMW board.... but the car would have been too expensive so it was never approved.

I thought I would throw this link out... some cool cars at BMW Classic's old location. Now the building has been torn down and is a new modern parkhaus for BMW test cars! lol
