Wrong. "Registering" is still needed even if the new battery is exactly the same as the old battery. Registering the battery tells the charging system that the battery is "new" as opposed to "old" and sets up the charging system to use the "new" battery charging protocol.

Not sure if you understood me correctly so ill explain, I was simply confirming after SilverQ helpfully made the suggestion to ensure the battery was registered, that I had registered the battery change and also that it was the same spec as my old battery. Right or Wrong not sure about where that came from
