Frankly I don't see why they're so resistant. $800 isn't an amount of E&O insurance claim for a company to drop your coverage. That's what I would do as a business owner knowing that I already lost the customer in my efforts to correct it myself, at least I can make sure I can make people whole and not have people pissed off at my negligence.

I know - makes no sense to resist. Makes them look bad. I own a business as well and bend over backwards to make sure my employees, end product and services please all my clients (and if we do screw up its auto apology mode times 4)
