So I just applied the second coat of Griots 3 in 1 ceramic. I will say streaking is a concern on black cars, but thanks to you tube and some trial and error, i figured out how to avoid it.
First, plush microfiber towels only! None of the cheap Amazon or autozone types. Second, do not spray directly on the vehicle. Saturate a microfiber towel, wipe on then buff off. Third, small areas only. This stuff flashes quickly, so only do about half a panel at a time and break the hood into fourths. Finally, and possibly most important, change the drying/buffing towel frequently. I did 2 panels with one towel then changed it out. If they are even slightlt damp they will streak.
All in all it wasnt much worse than any other spray on wax, just need to change drying towels more often. They say it will get glossier after it cures, so i am excited to see what it looks like tonight/tomorrow.
