This new iNext is the same crap as i3... except an X3 or X5 syling... I hope I'm wrong and it's a normal 3 series!

If you have read recent BMW news you should know that BMW will implement electric drivetrain option to ALL their models and use the same production line as for ICE cars.
This will obviously take some time until all models are included.
The "iNext" is more of a showcase to demonstrate a very high-tech model.
