Thanks man! And welcome to the club - you're going to love it.
In theory you could probably clamp the axle back on, but you're going to have to cut the factory pipes to put them on at which point I found it best to weld it on. The Megan system is really a muffler back oppose to axle back, as you can see from the photo below.
