I use a socket to loosen and tighten mine and it so much easier than the filter wrench. I use OEM filters and there is no fitment issues. I bought some extra crush washers but have gone 2 oil changes with the old washer but that was by accident.
I bought mine at 3rd party vendor for a little cheaper a little over a year ago but with black friday sales coming up maybe some deals will pop up. I did speak with the Weistec folks a couple of time via phone before installing it and they were very friendly folks.
