My most memorable aviation moment was an Emergency abort 3/4 of the way down the runway due to right engine failure on my way to China. Good news is, I had a spare change of underwear... the bad news was, it wasn't on my carryon...
We were in a 777 HEAVY and the plane shook like hell... Nothing happened, everyone was safe. When we got back to the terminal, I took a sharpie out of my bag and put a mark on the armrest of my seat. My business partner asked me whet I was doing... I told him they are not fixing right engine failure over night, if we get back on tomorrow and its the same plane, you're going by yourself...  |
You know they wiped off the Sharpie with alcohol and used the same plane…
