I am not sure how many of you had issues with the recent BMW assist system updates. But mine stopped working during those updates and when my subscription was up for renewal. For five months BMW Germany and BMW assist and the local dealers could not figure out what was wrong although the COM system seems to be working. Long story short they ended up getting direction from BMW Germany to replace the Communication box. They charge me $550 for it and when I submitted a claim with BMW relations they told me that although they understand it's there a problem because the car is when you're out of warranty they will not give me my money back. I think this is unacceptable. Let me know what you guys think and if you had any problems with your communication box.
