maron do you know if this was region specific where certain equipment was not offered on the 6 series when new in your region? Similar to how the Euro-spec adaptive headlight functionality is not enabled on US-spec models?

I think the specifications differ due to country-specific laws.
In my country, the interior mirror has a built-in ETC (Electronic Toll Collection System).
This glass may interfere with ETC communication.
