I don't remember that, but I'm not doubting it. I was really excited about his debut with BMW Sauber, following Kubica's strong debut. When Vettel went to Toro Rosso, I kind-of lost touch with his career (except for the race win), until he went to RBR.

Michael Shumacher was an aggressive dick who cut people off, boxed them out, and stuck his nose in everywhere. Vettel is cut from the same cloth. But eventually, you have to keep your car out of trouble in order to win races.

It's possible that both SHU (Fer) and VET (RBR) eventually landed in superior cars, that allowed them to avoid much of the confrontation (although SHU scrapped together 2 WCs with Benetton).
