Consistent? You must not be familiar with any of the online part database sites because if you input your VIN, then go to the WHEELS diagram...it will list every BMW wheel that was offered or available for your BMW. And you will find all of the wheel's specs (width/height & wheel offset) listed in the part nbr index below each wheel's diagram.
If not familiar with BMW nomenclature...wheel offset is listed with an
"ET" prefix in front of a numerical value. For example: "
ET:19 means that the wheel has a 19mm wheel offset.
Here's a direct link to the f13 M6 wheel diagrams. Again, just click on all of the 20 inch wheels and you'll see what the front and rear wheel offsets are for that particular wheel:

Example for Wheel Style 343:
BMW LA wheel, M double spoke 343 - 20''
front wheel: 9.5"X20" ET:31 (31mm offset)
rear wheel: 10.5"X20" ET:19 (19mm offset)
