An intriguing comparison when both were at 22 but mismatched in that in 2007 Hamilton was just matched mainly with Alonso in what is seen now as the 'best pairing' ever (the two lapping everyone at Monaco) though Raikkonen somehow managed to snatch the DC right at the end!
Max being compared at 22 now has far more competition and blocks with not from teammate (which was the most direct comparison of the one he had to beat for Hamilton in 2007) but from Leclerc,Hamilton,Bottas and at times wayward Vettel one of whom amateurishly ruined Max's race for the title (Silverstone) and of course Leclerc who rammed him off sideways in Japan (receiving two penalty points for that) so I would say the comparison is flawed as you can't compare situations from 12 years apart.
