I will say that's surprising, but none the less good run. 80 mph pulls is the sweet spot for hellcats as they have pretty bad traction issues. I always tell people to "know your race"..meaning, what is the best gear/mph/RPMs for your car. This comes with practice. I haven't done many 80 mph pulls, but I would say 3rd may work slightly better. It would be a quick shift, though.

For the record, a couple weeks ago I raced a 850 crank hp hellcat on a tire from 60-130 and I won by a car and a half. Just goes to show the potential of these cars.
