Due to the computer increasing the revs when in Sport mode, the car IS indeed faster in Sport. In Sport mode it keeps the revs higher, which will in turn keep you in the car's power band for better acceleration. I could also feel the difference in my N63 550. My 650 "feels" more pronounced though likely due to the exhaust note
