Thanks for the feedback. I do have an aftermarket exhaust.
The sound subsides and totally stops once the engine is warm. Could that still be an exhaust gasket issue? I'm trying to take her to the mechanic... I hope it's nothing catastrophic or $$$ - but I will definitely update this thread once I get an answer or fix. Wish me luck.
