Carbon Ceramic Breaks Squeal FIX?!

Saw this from another forum post and and sharing it here for all of us to test out and share and confirm it fixes the dreaded and annoying break squeals at low speeds…

I have a 2014 M6 Gran Coup, love to drive it-Great Car. It came with the race brakes (ceramic/Carbon pads/rotors) they to are fantastic but at very slow, almost stopped they squeal like a school bus. I've tried to solve this several times and think I found it. I know this would be tabu by BMW. I took off the rotors and cut out high density gasket material 1/32 to the circle shape of the spindle - lug plate, all holes and tabs. Put rotor on, used copper shield on all contact points. It's been almost 2 weeks now and no squeal.....yet.

Brakes did begin to squeal badly again. Read about Aston Martins soaking pads with BG Stop Squeal-PN860. I removed the pads, fine sanded the surfaces, chaffered the edge, kept applying an entire bottle to each pair of pads, let them sit for a half hour or so and reassembled. I honestly think this is the solution to the squealing of ceramic/carbon pads and rotors.
