Just had this done in Boston, they had to pull the module from the car and upgraded to x5m style per above, the total price all in was $250.00. Feel free to reply to the thread or pm me for more info but not sure how beneficial it would be as you do have to pull the module (i think it was called dme) but no destroying of the original key. I believe the companies that destroy the original key actually remove the chip and resolder into the new key which i was advised may not be ideal.
