I'm sure its quite a frustrating situation trying to figure it out. If u can't see any oil its either being burnt or it is dripping on a very hot part thats burning it off. Due to the cover under car unless its a catastrophic leak u dont usually see anything on the floor of ur drive etc. Possibly take it to a reputable mechanic that can do further testing for you.
