I have a frozen black M6GC. Its my first matte car. Its a lot less complicated to maintain than a traditional car with clear coat and a gloss finish. You just wash it, and dry it. I use matte sealants to provide a layer of protection.

I think that paint is difficult to match whether its matte or not, and that if a scratch or dent is bad enough to need paint, then most repairers will repaint that panel, and potentially adjoining panels to blend them together.

If the car is mechanically sound, is what you want, and is a fair price - buy it. Frozen paint ownership is not painful, and should not be the factor that prevents you from M6 ownership.
