The paint is easier to maintain than a gloss paint. You just need to be sure to use matte products. I have heard good things about Dr. Beasly matte products. This paint should never be buffed or waxed. BMW sells a nanowax that works with this paint but other than that, thats about it. The real problems come if you get this paint damaged as most of the time your going to need the whole part repainted, and you need to find a shop that can do it correctly. I had to pass on a loaded frozen black m6 a few weeks back due to paint damage all over the bumper, hood, and driver side door. It was going to be too much of a hassle to get all that painted again.
