I would feel more comfortable if a private owner with records or a bmw dealer (however since over 4 years old they wouldnt hold it.

They were pretty vague when I asked them this question, so I wouldn't doubt it. And yes, I'd highly prefer from an individual or BMW dealership, but easier said than done! I'm not having much luck with the hunt for a lower mileage coupe.
