So songs should only be used in commercials if a lot of other commercials are going to use the same song? I'm trying to undertsand your logic here but coming up short.

So, in other words, you're not homophobic but you agree with all of the homophobic comments.
I truly don't understand all of the hostility toward the "Joy" campaign. It really makes perfect sense to me - my car
does bring me joy, everytime I get behind the wheel. It makes what would otherwise be totally mundane commuting joyous.
If you think about it, BMW is making a pretty big claim in this series of ads, this idea that their products could actually transcend utility and really resonate with the consumer/driver to deliver satisfaction, fulfillment, contentment, even (dare I say it) joy - but in my view their products do just that.
At this point, I don't think I need to see an ad of a guy hooning in a 6er to understand that a BMW is a BMW.
