Funny you mentioned that. I actually have most of Dave Weckl's cd's (including the ones you mentioned). Though, I thought Vinnie Colaiuta was a better drummer (who also has a solo album). From high school to college, I used those types of cd's to learn different playing styles for drums and percussion. I wanted to to learn piano and bass guitar, but never had the time.

These days most of the jazz I listen to comes from the the 60's to the 80's.
