As mentioned above, be sure to take care of any maintenance items before the tune. The engine will be pushed harder than it would be with the stock tune, so any issues will show more readily.

I know someone that had a JB4 and didn’t have any issues. It really woke the car up and was easy to install and remove.

I personally run the bm3 flash tune and love it. But I’m out of warranty, do all the work on the car myself, and am comfortable flashing the ECU.

Something else to consider is a transmission tune, such as the one through xHP. This made a huge difference for me in the way the car drives.

No matter what you go with I’m sure it’ll make the car more responsive and enjoyable!
