Edit: The other thing is that my life in the Navy for the first 12 years (as an enlisted sailor, then a Chief) and the final 13 years (as an officer) were much different. Another 'Mustang'! Enlisted at 17 in '70, medic, PA school in '75, E7 in '77 and O1E in '78. Retired as O3 with a line # for O4 that I declined due to major health org job offer at age 37.
