I just read one of the above replies and it made me think, one of the excuses, reasons (depending on your POV) is that porn is an outlet ?
several cases
1> joe ordinary, no indication of crime or criminality nor wanting to go out and commit crime, uses porn as a release, be it your bog standard meat and 2 veg, or hard bondage, it full fills a needs he can't get, no harm has been done to anyone, he goes on to live a long productive life in society.maybe win a nobel peace prize
2> Joe wifewont guy, wants to do bondage, scat, anal, what ever, either doesnt want wife to think he's a deviant, or maybe asked and she called him a deviant, doesnt want to be unfaithfull, i.e. hooker, gets a release from porn, his partner cant or wont satisfy
3> Joe wifedef wont guy, this guy, is not going to do this real world, but his real kick is kiddie, rape, heavy BDSM, he is NOT going to tell his wife for sure and same as 2 doesnt wanna go to a hooker, for what ever is in his mental thought pattern, he needs to fulfill that urge, and def doenst ever wanna do that real life.
4> Joe just on the tipping point guy, this guy is on the edge, he needs hard ilegal porn, that's the only thing that works... if he doesnt use porn, there is a risk he could go out and do whatever is in his depraved mind
