Hey guys,
Sorry to bring and old thread back to life, but have some questions about this service.
A local shop is quoting me less than $300/labor for the work, but dealer is over $1k, saying they have to plug it in to the computer and run full diagnostics and calibration, etc.
Could anyone confirm this is required? Or would just replacing the pans/filters/fluids suffice? Is it safe to just replace everything from the service kit or do we really need to tell the computer it's new stuff and recalibrate and all that good jazz?
