Didn't get that one duty free...bought at a place called Bottles in Willemstad, Curaçao. He had three variants of this...the Panama 12 - which I already have a bottle of on my bar (though mine is a single cask- black label, aged in an Arran Whiskey cask), he also had a Fiji, and a Peru. Cost wise - reasonable. The Panama and Fiji were 119,00 ANG - which equates to about $66 USD. The Peru was a tad higher at 129 ANG - Which is about $72 US.
I'm taking a gander that the higher price means better or more rare...but actually never seen the Fiji or Peru before. I would have gotten both, but was getting concerned about luggage space...and the Havana's had priority.
Panama is a bold flavor - not sweet like the XO, but by no means harsh. I'll need to compare and report back on the Peru and the Havana Seleccion...as I've never had either yet.
Their word on these...
