At the end of my warranty, the dealer finally agreed that my car was shuddering and replaced the pads and turned the rotors. This seemed to do the trick and now I’m off the hook as it were for brake work for at least 20,000 miles. Car says 31,000, but I tend to take that with a grain of salt.
When (if) I do have to replace the rotors - should I have the car that long - I think I would go for Zimmerman as they supply BMW with brake parts. The only other thing I would ten to make sure of, is that I got two-piece rotors, like the car came with from the factory.
