My shop just checked and they are the same IC cores for both card. These Intercoolers just need a new mount and adapters and houses from Dinan...said it would be about $250-300 cost for those to be purchased. Otherwise they would work fine with a 2011+ 550i vehicle and are direct fit (same part # for all 2013+ 6 series cars). Also since it would be a Dinan OEM part of done at/thru a Dinan retailer then you'd likely get the warranty as they'd re-register then to your VIN w/Dinan.
Didn't think they'd go thru the effort and cost to R&D two totally different sets of intercoolers for what is the same engine on these cars. Not that big of a market to cover. Good news for you guys.
