Alpina is also more expensive while having a worse performance, worse fuel consumption, worse design and basically nothing better. The only good I've sen in Alpinas B6 E63/E64 was leather stitching, which isn't an advantage over F12/F13 anymore and I also liked their sporty hood on LCI E63/E64 B6.
I'd like to know why exactly are they charging more for Alpina while I've seen some people call it "poor man's M". A customer who can pay 180k can also pay 190k, unless he really stretched last money to buy an M car (in which case he shouldn't buy an M car in the first place).
I don't consider "exclusivity" as a valid argument because it sounds like a poor marketing attempt at cars which aren't desirable in the first place for one or another reason.
