Vossen Hits a "Gran Slam" With this 640i

Here we have a very first from Vossen! It's the BMW 640i Gran Coupe on staggered 22x9.0/22x10.5 Matte Black Machined VVS-CV3s. We are very impressed with the overall look this grand coupe gives after the CV3s came in to play.

Enjoy the photography, click any picture to see the full gallery!

Full video coming soon......

Sleek

22s were just right for this Bimmer

Impressed?

Extraordinary view of the CV3s

She's beautiful

Not for me.

Not the right style, and the very open 22" rim makes the disc brakes look too small. They are a good size, but these wheels just make the proportions look all wrong.

+1 wheel may be big but the design has no distinction to make this stand out from a 335 (per se) with same design wheel

Therefore, to me it's a 'foul ball'.

Bring on a BBS FI or RI-D wheel onto this car and you'll see what I mean, not necessary 22 inch wheel.

Ditto. I think the 6 and especially the 6GC is distinctive in the BMW line up that warrants wheel designs that are not merely taken from the 1/3/5/7 series. I tried the Morr MS8s from my F10 on the 6GC (they don't fit). Even though I loved the MS8s on my F10, they just look very plain and tame on the 6GC.

I think BMW did it right (for the Hong Kong spec anyway) to put the new special star-poke on the 650i as standard. One of the few BMW OEM wheels that I liked. My shop called yesterday to ask me if I am willing to sell that set to a customer of theirs, and I told them HELL NO
