Maybe it'll be a bit more expensive but at those prices any difference is more like a rounding error than a deal breaker.

First, I wouldn't choose either over the M6 because 2 doors are more suited to sporty cars and sexier to boot.

However, given the 2 choices you named, I would choose the M5 over the M-GC because while the GC is beautiful, I would choose an M for it's sporting nature. The M5 looks more sporty, more powerful. There's much more aftermarket support for the M5 as well....further increasing it's sport appeal.

I'd get the M6 GC!!It's the best looking BMW by far. IMO when you're paying that much for a car you want style and power. The M6 GC wins in the style category!!
