New Nav Update from BMW - 6Post.com | BMW 6-Series Forum

Just received this info in the mail from BMW. My CA told me that "select models" as the brochure states - "Professional Nav System" will only be available in the new 7 Series. All others will follow in March 2013. My personal opinion is that this system is available NOW in the Mercedes, Lexus and even some Hyundai models. Spending over $100,000. on a 2013 M5 and M6 surely deserve to have this system installed and ready to go. Hope this answers some of the questions on the forum.

thanks for the info. do you know if dealers will be able to upgrade our cars --- for a fee?

I am pretty sure the m5 already has it.

M5 has it my dealer has a new 2013 with the updated connected drive and navigation

My 2013 M6 convertible will be here Friday November 9 from Euro Delivery of September 17. It does have the Connected Drive with the front camera but the Nav was the old one in Germany. Don't think it will have the new pro system. Will post when the car arrives. Be nice.

Ok so my late October build M6 Coupe arrived and it does not have the updated nav. I think that the March 2013 update is probably correct. Was told ceramic brakes would be available then as well.
