F12/F13 M6 Aftermarket
Am I the only one who feels as though the F12/3 M6 has been left out. Both the F10 M5 and 650/40 have aftermarket performance parts and cosmetic parts.

They already have a serious exhaust in the form of the Akrapovic (if you have about $8k). Other products will be released as soon as the tuners and after market suppliers get their hands on the vehicles. There are already other threads with initial and preliminary products. There is even a CA outfit doing complimentary dyno checks revealing 620 hp crank output actual performance of stock F13.

upgrades
Ok, so I pulled the trigger today and ordered the Akrapovic Evolution Ti exhaust for the M6 coupe. My car is being prepped today and IND said the exhaust should be in late next week. Anyone else with upgrades to performance, please post as I am very interested. I am awaiting Dinan software tune as well, also interested in cold air intake.

Thanks, it was a bit of a hard pill to swallow, but when you do the math compared to say a Dinan rear section at $4k plus $2k to $2500 for a mid x-pipe section and factor in the fact that the Akra is titanium, I think they can justify the price. In the end after getting 20% back towards a car down payment the exhaust is costing me around $6000 so I can live with that.

Exhaust
My exhaust arrived today from the good folks at IND and my mechanic will be installing it on Monday. I promise I will get pictures taken and post them as well as give some insight. Also having my Laser Interceptor system reinstalled and my V1 as well as some little cosmetic parts. I am trying to keep this one as stock as possible other than exhaust and tune (and maybe a cold air instate). I had every Dinan engine mod for the last V10 and I am not going all out on this one. BTW any news on a floor mats that actually say ///M6.
Peace, Noushy |

Only M ones from the BMW catalouge. I would be interested as well. I am very interested in hearing and visualizing those Akropovics. I feel the exhaust needs a little something. It is somewhat disappointing having to go into M2 to hear some noise. It is almost like my Harley with stock exhaust. Just doesn't seem right. Too PC.
