I put mine in a parkign garage. Wasn't sure how safe it would be until I got out, and realized that there were 2 Rolls Royces behind me, and every possible high end make and model of Porsche and Merc around me.

Made it through A-OK. Wish I could say the same for our house. 18 inches of Long Island Sound in the living room. Not pleasant.

As long as you have physical damage (comprehensive coverage), yes.
